Learning the Japanese language has five (5) categories, namely: listening,speaking, reading, writing, and integrated. Our lessons can get you well on your way to learning how to speak, read, and write Nihongo. You will find such things as the Japanese alphabet, including Hiragana and Katakana as well as Kanji, vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, and common words and phrases.

The levels for each categories are created based on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test which has five levels: N1, N2, N3, N4 and N5. N5 is the easiest level and the most difficult level is N1. N4 and N5 measure the level of understanding of basic Japanese mainly learned in class while N1and N2 measure the level of understanding of Japanese used in a broad range of scenes in actual everyday life. N3 on the other hand, is a bridging level between N1/N2 and N4/N5.
